At Landmark Homes Taranaki, you’ll work with a hands-on team of qualified builders who bring decades of experience to every home we create.

Our team is led by Scott Vile, a Licensed Building Practitioner with over 22 years of experience, alongside Steve “Sticky” Whitaker, also an LBP with more than 30 years in the trade, who recently completed his own home on Puni Street. Scott Kearns, with a background as a builder and 12 years at Placemakers, brings extensive product knowledge and three years of experience working with Landmark clients.

We work with a trusted group of build crews and subcontractors we’ve known for years, which keeps every project running smoothly and to a high standard.

We also keep things simple and transparent for our clients. Instead of large upfront payments, we structure contracts into around 22–23 milestone payments. This means you only pay as work is completed, giving you confidence and helping the project move along at a steady pace.

Clients are always welcome on site and can be as involved as they choose. We schedule regular walkthroughs at key stages, such as before windows and doors are ordered, so you can review, approve, or make changes before decisions are finalised.

With a cohesive team and a practical, open approach, we aim to make the building process clear, efficient, and stress-free from start to finish.
