Having secured the perfect section in Tamahere, the couple began their search for a new home builder. It was a Landmark Homes Showhome that caught their eye.
“You’re only building once, so you want to do it properly,” Kirsten says. “You hear some nightmare stories! We wanted to avoid that, so we chose Landmark Homes.”
The couple chose the Hawea plan and worked alongside Landmark’s design team to modify the plan for their long narrow section. The couple also wanted to add another bedroom and bathroom on the lower floor to accommodate their parents.
