Craig Flanagan from Landmark Homes Auckland - South and Franklin franchise has been named Landmark Homes 2023 Construction Manager of the Year.
Despite being part of Landmark's Auckland - South and Franklin franchise for just one year. Craig Flanagan's expertise and dedication to project management saw the experienced builder named Landmark Homes Construction Manager of the Year.
With over 30 years of experience in the building industry, Craig is an experienced Project Manager at Landmark Homes Auckland - South and Franklin.
Craig's expertise and dedication to project managing Landmark's exceptional home builds have seen the born and bred Franklin resident named Landmark Homes 2023 Construction Manager of the Year.
The Construction Manager of the Year award recognises the on-time and on delivery of Landmark projects. The winner must have provided the highest level of communication with clients, sub-trades, suppliers and their own internal franchise team members.
For Craig, the award came as a big surprise.
"I went to the annual Landmark Homes NZ Gala Awards Dinner evening and had no idea what was coming up.” Craig says. “It was a pleasant surprise." It was great to be recognised at a National level.
As a Project Manager, Craig coordinates Landmark's exceptional quality builds. As with any building project, schedules are constantly evolving, and a vital part of Craig's role is ensuring that materials are ordered, tradies are coordinated, and plans are kept in sync throughout.
"Working with different moving parts is a complex part of the building process," Craig says. "It's my job to ensure the work is always completed to Landmark's well-known high standards
“And as team we always try to exceed our client's expectations."
Being proactive is also a mainstay of Landmark Homes' promise. Craig is an expert in forecasting where issues may arise and mitigating them as quickly as possible. He is adept at guiding his clients through the building process, providing them with weekly reports on their builds.
"Communication, managing the projects and making people feel engaged is everything when it comes to construction management," Craig says. "Providing weekly reports to our clients is one of the most important parts of the building process. After all, it is their dream home that we are creating."
Although he has only been with Landmark for a year, Craig is enjoying working with the Landmark team.
"Landmark is an awesome company," Craig says. "The entire team is very supportive, and we all help each other. Everyone at Landmark is working towards one common goal: to build homes of the highest standards while ensuring everything runs as smoothly as possible."
So now that he has won his first award at Landmark, what is next for Craig?
"I'm really proud of all the Landmark homes I've project managed," Craig says.
"I put the same effort and energy into all my projects, so I'm excited to see what else I can achieve for my Landmark clients."
